Life is hectic. A major component of our activities revolves around supporting the Masonic youth organization DeMolay; as I have said before, T and I are both adult advisors. We had our first advisory panel meeting since I joined recently, and even though I was exhausted from work, I came to realize just how much goes into running these groups, and more than that, how often they can be overlooked by the rest of the Masonic family.

These youth groups provide a place for young men and young women to learn important life skills, and Freemasons can provide guidance and mentoring. Serving in these roles has been very fulfilling and even if the day has been long, busy, hectic, or just plain awful, attending a youth group meeting always brought a smile to my face and made my day better. Job's Daughters International is an organization for young women age 10 to 20, and who are related to a Master Mason or a Majority Member a woman who was in Job's Daughters. While there are several youth organizations sponsored or supported by the various Masonic organizations, three are the largest and best known.
