The Festival of New Trumpet Music is committed to the support of new music by a diverse community of trumpet and brass players, and the presentation of their work to the public. The Festival aims to promote opportunity, encourage diversity, and enable community for and among trumpet players and those with whom they work. FONT Music works with trumpet players and composers to assist them in realizing their artistic vision. By connecting artists with venues, funding and promotional resources, FONT Music attempts to make this process as open and collaborative as possible. FONT also presents an annual Award of Recognition to a distinguished trumpet player who has made an important contribution to the instrument.

The annual festival consists of concerts and workshops over a two to three week period in New York City in September. FONT also gives an Award of Recognition to a distinguished trumpeter who has made an important contribution to the instrument. The first took place at the downtown music venue Tonic in August and presented 40 performances with trumpeters representing jazz , free jazz , hip hop , rock , improvisational , and classical music. The second festival featured trumpeter Bill Dixon and performances by the member Trumpet Nation led by Butch Morris. The third annual FONT Music, held in August , provided a week-long celebration of Lester Bowie at the Jazz Standard and an expansion of educational and performance opportunities for students and aspiring musicians.
Every new set will see your man with fresh and hungry eyes as a potential golden contact. It's a fairly new relationship and I don't want to jump to any conclusions. Then she can have a chance to actually be the individual she is, and they can have an adult conversation about their future and whether or not they have one. But that parent-child relationship was bound to change anyways as you become an adult. I don't really care if she's religious or not, unless she brings it up all the time or tries to convert me.
