Breathe In, Breathe Out. I was fortunate to do my yoga teacher training with the wonderful Sue Woodd, and the Seasonal Yoga team. My yoga training confirmed that Yoga is beneficial to everyone on a physical, emotional and psychological level. By combining my nursing experience with my knowledge of yoga I hope to be able to motivate people to embrace yoga into their life and experience the benefits it brings. In Sanskrit yoga means union, but for me yoga is that immense pleasure you feel when you are able to perform and feel the asana: learning the truth about your body and understanding what it is telling you. The way your head feels light, clear and focused following pranayama; that small moment of bliss when you're meditating and that hunger to hold onto it. That deep feeling of rest and calm following yoga Nidra, how different the world looks at that moment. The excitement of exploring this dynamic discipline and the connection one is building with it.
